MARG LIMITED SIGNS MOU WITH CHINMAYA MISSION
~ To establish Chinmaya Vidyalaya at MARG Vishwashakthi ~
Chennai, March 18, 2010: MARG Limited, India's leading diversified infrastructure development company, today joined hands with Chinmaya Mission, a global organization with over 300 centres round the world engaged in spiritual,educational and social services, to perform the Bhoomi Pooja of Chinmaya Vidyalaya at MARG Vishwashakthi, the first-ever integrated township project at Tirupathi, in Andhra Pradesh. The foundation stone for the school was laid at the auspicious hands of Swami Mitrananda, Acharya of Chinmaya Mission, Chennai, & Director of the All India Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (AICHYK), in the presence of Mr S Ramakrishnan, CEO, MARG ProperTies, and other key officials of MARG and Chinmaya Mission.
MARG Vishwashakthi, which is strategically located on the Tiruchanoor Bypass Road in Kotramangalam, is the first-ever integrated township project in Tirupathi, spread across 17 acres with 513 Vaastu-compliant homes. This is the first-ever Chinmaya Mission school being established in Tirupathi, which will have a total built-up area of 26,700 sq. ft.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr GRK Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director, MARG Ltd., said, "Children symbolise the future development of a society. Chinmaya Vidyalaya will be developed in Phases; and Phase I with classes for LKG & UKG will commence in July 2010. The school will have classes from LKG to XII Standard.
